AIBU to be out of ideas and patience

I am at the end of my wits. I have three aged 7, 5 and 3 and I cannot cope with any more disease. The constant colds I can live with just about but we are now on the third post Christmas stomach bug. This one has got me. I am getting over bronchitis, then had virtually no sleep Friday to Monday night. Partner works away and won’t be back this weekend.

Im exhausted, I’m ill, behind at work and I can’t stand it anymore. I don’t even know what my question is. I’ve just had enough.

Hey OP that sounds tough. Mine are similar ages but not sick very often. Is this a regular occurrence or due to the season ?

At their ages it sounds likely that their immune systems will build up and you won't have to deal with this forever.

Thanks - it's driving me nuts. We go over and over hygiene. I follow them around demanding they wash hands. It drives me nuts. Hopefully you're right though and we will all grow out of it.

While living together all the hand washing in the world won't prevent contagion unfortunately. But if it keeps going into the summer I would talk to a doctor, as they shouldn't be sick all the time.
