Composite bonding

I had composite bonding on my lateral incisors and canines, last week. I was extremely happy with the outcome and my confidence boost. However l was a tad sad ,as it felt like l could no longer eat normally , like biting into sandwiches and corn. Also l may be saying bye to almonds, red wine and coffee which l love so much . Aside these , l can give up these to keep my smile and justify money spent . But the fact that the bonding can crack/break while l am on holiday outside of the UK gives me anxiety. I also worry about the possibility of cracking during hygienist cleaning.
How have you navigated these after your composite bonding was done. I would be grateful if you shared your experience .
Has anyone had their composite bonding cracked during hygienist cleaning ?
thank you

Adult daughter has had bonding for 7 years with no problems, including hygienist appointments. Obviously it will need redoing at some point, but it seems pretty resilient

I've had 4 front teeth bonded a year ago and I've had no problems. I was very cautious at first though.

I had my 2 front teeth done years ago.
I am careful about what I eat.
Mainly, I wouldn't bite an Apple or sweetcorn. But I would for example bite a sandwich. So anything soft.

Mine have lasted 8 years. My previous ones lasted 15 years until I chewed a really hard haribo. But that's not bad at all really. They were probably just worn

Had mine done two years ago, I was very cautious at first, not so much now. I drink strong tea and red wine, no issues. Did your dentist give you a teeth whitening kit? The only thing I cannot do now is bite off pieces of sellotape so need to use scissors. No hygienist issues either!
