Is this perimenopause and why are women so unlucky?!

So I guess this isn’t really an AIBU but I do wonder why us women have to put up with all this hormonal rubbish! It seems so unfair!
I’m 38 and wondering if I am perimenopausal. I take antidepressants for PMT and have done for nearly three years. They used to work on my mood swings but they seem to be working less and less now. Also over the last few months I’ve noticed I have a bit of a dark moustache! I’d never really noticed it before but now I’m like great wtf is that?! Also at the gym, when doing jumping jacks I have started noticing I wee a little bit! This never used to be an issue!

So I’ve started doing pelvic floor exercises because I’ll be full on pissing my pants at the gym before I know it!

Anyway I just wondered if these things are part of being perimenopausal?! Oh and best methods for removing said fucking dark moustache which is just delightful along with my teenage acne!!

Awww I’m so sorry. I would not be on hrt if it wasn’t for the fibroid and over my dead body will I be going for the coil again. Sorry I’m feeling really angry the week after period which isn’t like me. Everyone last week was wanting to tell me I was getting older even the optician I just wish my periods would listen and do one.

I’m on Amitriptyline but not for depression but as a muscle relaxer.

Some crazy thoughts from me are does this happen when it’s only colder/cooler weather? I always put it down in my past to diabetic.

Went to a women’s health festival run by an adult/further education college - pelvic person said menopause is becoming more medicalised and that they felt it wasn’t good for bowel and bladder issues to become so normalised. I got shown the pelvic floor exercises with recommended meditation by a gent called Dr Joe Dispenza. His videos on utube.
