Is this unusual?

My periods have been strange since they returned when my daughter was 1.
I had my period as normal, I finished yesterday, didn’t need a pad at all today.
I went for a bowel movement and had a pink/red bleed, absolutely from my front.
I am very health anxious and this has really worried me?!
I am due and booked in for my smear soon but really scared something sinister is going on :(

I’m not a medical professional but I quite often get a little bit of blood stained/pink discharge the day after my period so I think it’s quite normal.

This is totally normal. Nothing to worry about.

It will be the pressure from having a bowel movement that has caused a small amount pink/red op. Do you keep a track of your cycle on an app/calendar? Is doesn't sound unusual at all.

What mental health support are you getting for you anxiety? I'd be speaking to your GP about that asap.

That's just the last bit of period. The BM might have kind of pushed it downwards. I get diarrhoea when I'm on my period!
I often get a light pink bit at the end, then sometimes a bit of darker stuff which is just the last bit that's dried blood.

In regards to my anxiety, I have weekly therapy and am on medication.
My HA has been bad since my son had to be resuscitated at 6 weeks old and we almost lost him, this led to us finding out he has a very rare birth defect.
I was going great but I had a genuine health scare over Christmas- not an anxiety thing and it’s kind of thrown me.
I have never bled after a period; it was 100% finished, I started on Tuesday. I’ll keep an eye on it x
