I've been in hospital for a small procedure which left me with lots of trapped wind. I've been home for 2 days, turned over In bed this afternoon and did a completely silent but REALLY long burp which felt like it deflated my whole body and all the pain in my upper back and shoulders just went. It felt so relieving and satisfying.
My sister once pulled a hair from her foot only to find it was really long and had somehow wound over and under every toe and when she pulled it , she felt it on each one.

The first poo after having my second baby.

I swear it weighed more than the child, and took more effort to deliver. Had anyone else been in the room I'd have wrapped it in a blanket and posed for a picture.

It just took me several attempts to read this out to DP as I was laughing so much 😂

Prolonged multiple full body orgasms orgasms

I had a horrible chesty cough, the type where you cough so much you end up heaving. One morning I coughed up a solid but slightly gelatinous bright green ball which had spiky darker green bits on one side and was just under an inch in diameter. It was horrible but fascinating and every time I have a cough I hope for a repeat.

I have also had the nasal 'slug' as reported by previous posters. Holding one nostril closed and blowing my nose and out came 3-4 inches of jelly stuff - this hasn't happened for a while but thanks pp for reminding me 😄

The other satisfying thing was having the cast removed after breaking my wrist. Being able to scratch my arm and peel off the cruddy skin - bliss

To be fair, there was one time I finally realised what all the fuss was about with oral sex. I found it a bit boring before that, but fucking hell!!

I've also got one particular sex toy that will half kill you with orgasms. Now that was a good find!

I am immediately name changing now haha

I'd had a really heavy cold and my sinuses were quite painful. This went on for days and then one time I blew my nose and I swear a chicken nugget came out!
I was totally amazed. God knows how it could have fitted through my nose.
I googled it and it is quite rare. No, it wasn't a chicken nugget but a build up of infection. It was exactly like a nugget but without a crispy skin.

Funnywonder · 03/03/2025 00:43

After months of pregnancy related nausea, I developed a cough which was so severe, it made me throw up. The relief of actually BEING sick as opposed to FEELING sick was immense. I know throwing up is horrible, but feeling as if you need to, but nothing happening, really is unbearable.

Funnywonder · 03/03/2025 00:45

Oh yeah, just remembered the foot long clot that came out of my nostril after a 3 hour nosebleed when I was a teenager😬 That was very satisfying indeed!

Thepossibility · 03/03/2025 01:16

Not me but back when I was working in beauty therapy I was doing a facial on someone and they were telling me that they had the big mole on their eyebrow for as long as they could remember. It wasn't a mole and it was the most beautiful, satisfying blackhead extraction I've ever seen.

chubbychopsticks · 03/03/2025 04:09

I am always having to hear stories about how her mum is "too nice" and "does everything for her", (her dad is dead, doted on though, bought her breakfast in bed every school morning!) to which I reply, "well, I've raised my kids to have some life skills", and the last time after I said that I had to endure a very awkward sit-down meeting about how she thinks I criticise her mother. FFS! I am very calm with them during these sit-down chats and hold my own, I think but I am seeing another side from the responses on here today...

I would not be having ANY sit down chats. What the actual??

This is your house!

My ear once just let out a massive warm oozy blob of ear wax and my god it was orgasmic

Drank far too much at a wedding last week, clearly more then my body could process. The sheer joy of vomiting and feeling instantly better. It was a total ‘hallelujah’ moment
That happened to me once.
I was on DH's black tie works do and I hadn't kept tabs on the drink. Suddenly I felt really woozy and I knew I had far too much. I made it to the ladies. Thankfully no one else was there. I was sick. Within minutes I felt normal again.
I drank water for the rest of the evening and had no hang over next morning.
Never again though! I always keep count now!

Mounjaro poo, can't poo for a few days and then BOOOOM

Peakcentral · 03/03/2025 07:28

When I was 14 or 15, I’d had a terrible cough/cold for months, that wouldn’t shift (parents accused me of smoking rather than seeking any further medical attention 🙄).

I was on holiday in Florida with my mum and waiting at a bus stop. The humidity had improved my symptoms somewhat but I still felt congested. Suddenly I felt something in the back of my throat that I started coughing out. I managed to get hold of it with my fingers and pulled. What slid out of my head was a rope of semi-solid green mucus about 30cm long which slapped down onto my forearm upon exit. I was horrified but the relief was incredible and I still think of it 30 years later!

Clicking my joints (not dangerously so), it just feels great and like it releases stress. Honestly I could do with a personal massage therapist, that would just stretch my legs, and click me. Oh I also remember having acupuncture after a car accident. I was really reluctant as thought it was complete nonsense. I was completely wrong, one of the pins the physiotherapist put in started moving like crazy, and hit the exact spot; I could feel so much tension dispersing it was amazing.

Edited

That’s a technique called dry needling in which the physio moves the needle in a trigger point so that the muscle spasms and the relaxes. Beautiful technique albeit a bit painful

It was absolutely amazing, and to this day I believe it saved my shoulder from a longer term injury. I definately ate my words, and when it works it definitely works! The lady that did it was great, and lovely so she really put me at ease, which also helped. My back was so sore at this point I barely felt the needles; I think they were a nice distraction if anything. The deep tissue massage on the other hand; the next day was hell.

All the posts about dislocation reminded me of a couple of summers ago when I went for a run and fell over a tractor tyre rut. Miles from anywhere I was flat on my face and when I got up I could see the top joint of my little finger was pointing at a 90 degree angle from the rest of my hand. But as I got up I stumbled, put my hand out to stop myself falling over again and the finger just popped back into place. It didn't hurt, I assume it was still numb from the falling onto it. I just thought 'that was odd' and carried on my run.

It still aches sometimes, but it's not popped out again.

Y'all with the left shoulder spot - could it be from the strap of your handbags? 👜🤔

My contribution, not as great as some of these absolute beauties... I was swimming in the sea - got a splash in the face and my right eye started to swell up. Couldn't see anything in the mirror, but rinsed it out and took antihistamine and it calmed down after a day or so.

However, for months after my eye was just watering all the time. Then one day I was doing a hard workout and felt something 'give' at the back of my nose, which slid into my throat - spat it into my hand - it was a chickpea-sized white-grey lump which had the texture of a sort of flaky mushroom... Eye stopped watering after that. I don't know what it was, but guess some irritant had made a little skin-oyster of itself... I just hope it was sand or something rather than a small sea creature... 😝

I am always amazed at the affect some pieces of music/songs can have on me. How can just the sound of something have such a physical effect? It is an intense feeling that seems to start from the bottom of my back and washes over me like waves of goosepimples and chills, making all my hairs stand up on end...it can last up to 30 seconds and is incredible.

I also wonder if this is connected with how easily I cry at performances, plays, gigs, award ceremonies, choirs etc...these are not sad things, but I will well up with tears 9 times out of 10.

Ohhhhh this happens to me too. I did wonder if I was the only one to experience this and I am so glad you mentioned it. It’s like a wave of goosebumps.

Have you ever looked it up? It’s called Stendhal syndrome and it happens when you are overwhelmed by beauty. I am unsure if it happens in music too but I can attest that I end up crying more often than not.

My then 49 year old body got me to purple belt in karate - before I started martial arts, I did zero exercise & was about 3 stone overweight. I still find it hard to believe just how fit I got & what I achieved at pushing 50.

Yes, fine spray but can project a surprisingly long distance. I've not had one for about 5 years. I believe I'm due one in the next couple years.

Or I could just follow the Wiki tutorial on how to do it on demand

After it not happening for ages...woke up in the night, yawned and it did it!! I may have to Google how to do on demand 😄

An ex once asked me why i'd got a tattoo of a circle on my mons pubis.
I have not.
Sent her down there to get a photo and lo and behold big black O - after some time with a davy lamp and a pair of tweezers she extracted a 30cm long jet black hair that had grown round and round.
When it came out it pinged up and down like a coiled spring. Sort of wish Id kept it for posterity.

Had bad period cramps one day so put a cup in just in case. No period but passed what I can only assume was a polyp. Size of my thumb tip and shaped like a kidney bean, had marbling in it like a steak.

I had had a bad cold about 15 years ago and was feeling better but my nose and sinuses were still annoyingly blocked. I'd been trying to get the pfleghm out for days but it was stuck hard. Was keeping me up at night and I was generally grumpy about it

We were out for lunch in a restaurant, I went to the toilet and blew my nose really hard. The biggest lump of chunky snot in rainbow colours and different textures came out and I could suddenly breath through my nose wonderfly. Was such a relief, I wanted to tell my husband about it when I got back to the table but didn't wanted to make the next table feel sick 😅

Lolypoly14 · 03/03/2025 13:06

A couple of years ago I had an absolute stonker of a cold. My face and head just felt bunged up, couldn’t breathe through my nose.

Had a proper good blow of my nose and all of a sudden my head felt clear. It was amazing.

Had to sneak off so I could have a look in the tissue and there was a massive, green, jelly like blob of disgustingness. God knows how it was even inside my head in the first place.

I’ve never experienced anything like that again
