To ask if this is an emergency?

Posting here mainly for traffic.

The last week or so I've felt terrible. Finally took an iron tablet and felt so much better.
Problem is that better didn't last very long so I took another one..then another and then another. All together 80mg, one packet is mixed with other things and one is just 20mg.
I've convinced myself I'm going to die. Please someone reassure me I'm going to be okay

I didn't go and cancelled the ambulance but I did say somewhere I had someone who could've come and sit with them

Sorry I missed that, but if you had someone to sit with them, why couldn’t you have just gone to the hospital without waiting for the ambulance. You said you couldn’t get there as you had young children! IM confused!

This is a prime example of a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. If you learn anything from this, learn that you don't know enough.

So me misreading something in the middle of a panic attack is me not knowing enough? I mean, we all learn stuff every day that's part of life. But I think you're being a bit unfair here.

Please contact your health visitor and ask her to refer you to the Perinatel Mental Health team. They can support you until your baby turns one. The access to support you can get from them is very high - weekly contact, 24/7 emergency contact number, therapy you’d usually wait months for, medication if required. They’re amazing!

I received their support when I kept envisioning ways I’d accidentally but seriously injure or kill my son (like envisioning myself falling downstairs while holding him and landing on him). He was such a wanted baby and I think I was terrified of something making me lose him, even worse if it was my own fault. I had intense support and found it nothing but helpful.

(BTW son is now healthy happy and delightful 4yr old - my panic and anxiety declined as he got older)
