Lost diamond engagement ring

My husband bought me a beautiful antique engagement ring in 2021

He bought it from a specialist in Hatton Garden, it has 9 diamonds

Last year one of the smaller diamonds fell out and was lost, we took the ring back to the jeweller who replaced the diamond and 'tightened the clasp' for £900 (even with our insurance)

We got the ring back just over 6 weeks ago and today the same diamond has fallen out 😭

I'm just been pottering around the house, nothing crazy

AIBU to think that we shouldn't have to pay for it to be replaced a second time?

Part of me worries that even after they fix it again I'll be too scared to wear it

The same happened to me (but with a new engagement ring). The jeweller replaced the stone the second time, but made a hash of it. It looked awful.

My MoH persuaded me to write a letter of complaint and the jeweller replaced the ring. (Only 200, back in 1993.)
