How do I fill in a bank giro credit slip for multiple cheques ?

Hi, I can’t believe I’m asking this but I can’t remember the last time I paid in a cheque. I have multiple cheques here and a paying in book. I also have the special envelopes that I collected from the post office……

two questions! Grateful for any replies.

What do I write on the back of the slip? (See pics) Do I need to list the cheques? So far, I have just put the total amount on the front.

Also, on the front of paying in slip - do I write my name in the open “paid in by” box ?

Pic hasn’t been approved yet, but basically it says “cheques etc” at the top and “total carried over“ at the bottom…. and has the space to write a long list… So I’m assuming I list all the individual cheques on here?

It was a while ago but used to write the name of the person who issued the cheque in the cheque column and the amount in the next column.
then the total amount at the bottom
just list each individual cheque it requires very small writing and abbreviations.

Can't you just use your banking app to pay them in without all the faff of sending them off?
On the rare occasion I get cheques I just scan them and pay in on the app. Usually clear quicker too.
