Why do we have to accept cookies again and again and again?

Personally, I think the war on data was lost long ago, so being tracked isn't something I worry about anyway anymore. I have bigger problems!

Agree. Sometimes I go through the rigmarole of 'reject all' out of pure spite but it's such a faff most of the time I can't be bothered.

I agree total PITA. But I use the duck duck go browser and after choosing whether or not to accept or reject cookies for a website, when I visit that site again it blocks the notification pop up because its remembered my choice from last time. Makes it slightly more bearable. 😁

I wonder how much power is used globally to push out these pop ups and store the results. It must be an enormous amount.

I wish we could just have something on browsers that lets us accept/reject/accept essential only for all websites we access.

Exactly eurochick surely there could be an option in browser setting to accept all cookies or reject all cookies (or carry on getting the pop up for anyone who actually wants to decide site by site)
