To ask about your ghost stories...

I want to know who has seen / sensed a ghost and what your experience was? I have never met a ghost I don't think but my colleagues were talking about their experiences and I'm very open minded!

As a child I saw (or thought I saw) the translucent ghost of a Victorian lady in my street. It was dark and I was walking from my friend's house to mine. I remember running down the street and hammering on my door to be let in. Apparently, as a much younger child, I also once said to my mum "Who's that lady?" in my bedroom (when there as nbody there). She said the hairs on the back of her neck stood up! I always felt slightly uncomfortable in my childhood home but don't remember seeing anything after that. Not very exciting examples I know!

When my dad was a little boy about 8 or 9, he was very poorly with scarlet fever and he said he saw "a young man with a kind face" at the end of his bed. He said the man had sat in his desk chair and told him in another language that he must get better but my dad understood what he was saying.
My grandfather was a vicar and they were living at the parish vicarage. My dad said the man gave him the feeling that he was an angel. The man didn't say that, my dad just had the feeling come over him that he knew he was an angel.
My dad asked my gran where the man had gone and she said there wasn't a man there, nobody had visited.

He undoubtedly had a fever but you never know, do you?
