Periods started again!

I’m 43, take the mini pill(the one you take every day), still breastfeeding my 3 year old.
I’ve been taking this pill for around 3 years. A few months in, my periods stopped which was great.
last month, I forgot a pill and had a period about a week later. Now, around a month later, it looks like I’m getting another one. No missed pill this time.
what’s going on?

Could be perimenopause messing with your cycle

could be breakthrough bleeds or something else. I would definitely raise it with the GP if you haven't had a period for so long and the two in a relatively short space of time.

Peri-menopause or breakthrough bleeding.

I’ve never had breakthrough bleeds on this pill as it’s the one you take without a break.
i did wonder about peri as im getting some night sweats, too

I’d say the 2 are an average cycle apart. I’ve always been a 28 day cycle
