Looks like a normal eye

Coffeeisnecessary · 21/02/2025 22:54

Looks normal to me. My eye is similar.

cryinglaughing · 21/02/2025 22:54

Which part is abnormal in your opinion?

MolluscMonday · 21/02/2025 22:54

Looks fine to me, bit red. What bit is worrying you?

SwanOfThoseThings · 21/02/2025 22:55

It looks a bit inflamed - mine go like that if I get grit in them. Are you up to date with eye-tests?

Springbreeze97 · 21/02/2025 23:02

I'm not sure. It just feels wierd, I keep having to blink, the other day it went a bit blurry and I had to keep clearing the eye by blinking and I have had a pain behind that eye lid that comes and goes. Sorry for the drip feed. Just wondered if anything obvious could be seen that looks abnormal on the eye. I don't usually have the redness I don't think.

Eye looks normal to me

Lashes are fantastic! So jealous 🤭

What you describe sounds like the start of conjunctivitis, but the eye looks fine.

You could try just using an eye wash. If it is infected the pharmacy won't sell you the drops unless it's green and gunky anyway.

CherryBlossom321 · 21/02/2025 23:13

Mine are sometimes like this - I have dry eyes as my tear ducts don’t work well. I have drops to use daily which are basically a tear substitute. Do they feel dry? My first symptom was a gritty sensation, like I’d got a bit of sand in them. Started around 6 years ago.

hattie43 · 21/02/2025 23:14

I think it looks red and inflamed . I'm battling with a stye at the moment and it looks similar.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 21/02/2025 23:14

OP might also be blepharitis. Ask a pharmacist :)

MumBikini · 21/02/2025 23:19

Looks fine to me!

(But my son had some serious eye complications that I couldn't see by just looking and could only see when the optician showed me a magnified picture etc.. so if u r worried, pop to the optician

Treesandsheepeverywhere · 21/02/2025 23:26

Looks normal, could be dry or a foreign object stuck under the eyelid.

Eye wash might help.

Musntapplecrumble · 21/02/2025 23:28

I'd go to the opticians as soon as, if it's blurry and painful.
