Voice Memo Help

Posting for traffic, sorry.

Dd has conducted a focus group for her uni dissertation today and recorded it on her phone using Voice Memo. The first one recorded fine. The second one is really quiet and muffled and extremely hard to hear and therefore transcribe. You can pick out the odd words but not the whole sentence at times.

She is understandably in bits as this is the data needs and it can’t be replicated. Any techy people got any ideas as to how to make it clearer and decipherable?

any help so appreciated 🙏

I'm not very tech minded but if it was me I'd attach it to an email and send it to myself then open it on my pc with some speakers attached and turn it up full volume. I hope she gets it sorted!

You can use a free software called audacity to amplify it and remove background noise on a laptop. So as pp said and and it to yourself then try that. There are lots of free guides on how to. Simple stuff on it like this.
