Hi all,

I start a new job in March, I have pre booked holidays and have told the company about them.

I have a holiday in November to Florida, I'm not sure how I feel about it - I don't know what my concerns are really but I feel a bit wary so was thinking I might cancel it. ( I haven't fully decided but I'm seeing how things go )

I still want to go on holiday and I'll be working with a travel company so can use the discount to book another somewhere else I think

If I cancel the Florida holiday, should I cancel the pre booked dates and rebook on availability or just leave them in place and book a holiday for those dates?

I'm probably overthinking it but I was just wondering which way would be best.

I think your overthinking it OP, once you figure out what you want to do about your November holiday you can let your new job know but for now leave your pre booked leave as is. This is assuming you don't work in some sort of industry where AL needs to be locked in 12 months in advance and can't be changed
