Do your job we don't all have printers

Am so sick and tired of being expected to do people's jobs for them. Just got an email asking me to print out this 30 page contract thingy saying I need to print it and sign it and get it witnessed and post it back within 5 days. Why can't they post it to me? I don't mind signing things electronically but it will cost me a lot to get all that printed . It's just happening more and more not just printing but everything you try and do you have to download an app or fill in loads and loads of stuff and just so time consuming. Anyone else finding this.

Eugh drives me mad. I paid for a training course which included a manual and got sent it pdf and told to print it myself and I had to print it as I'd need it during the training. Made me really annoyed as I thought part of the money I'd paid wa for the manual 😵‍💫

If that annoyed you then don't go to Uni - you pay over £9k in fees and you don't even get lecture notes, test papers etc provided in paper - you have to print them yourself if you want them in paper which costs a fortune, even with "discounted" university printers - still 5p-10p per sheet and some sets of lecture notes go to over 100 pages, that's just for one module, and you do loads of modules over the 3 years.

For a Spanish mortgage you have to print out nearly 40 pieces of paper and both of you on the mortgage has to sign every piece of paper at the bottom.

Agree, I do have a printer but resent having to print forms when it should be the company sending hard copies to me if that's what they require. Unless it's a page or two I ring and ask them to post. Why should I have to pay? Also really hate the online forms you have to print, the sign, and scan to send back electronically. Wtf?

I got a printer for £50 with ink from argos, and it's earnt it's keep.

I just don't get why if you can see a pattern of things becoming more DIY in terms of printing, why you'd not just get a printer.

Yep I've done this twice and it's broke twice plus takes up a lot of space in my v small house. I have tried🤣 but failed
