Trump seems to be captured and in awe of Putin and is spouting what Russia has previously said. Putin and Trump are a loved up but odd Bromance.

Previously, America was fully behind Ukraine. A mere few months and Trump is in love with Putin and sounds like his puppet. Putin has the biggest smile.

By equitable, you mean Russia back behind 2014 borders. Anything less is a total and abject failure on Trump who has been hailed as "The best negotiator ever".

As a previous poster has said Trump wishes to align himself and carve up the world between the three big hard men - Putin, Xi and Trump. At least for the next four years we cannot expect the US to bail out or protect weaker nations. I hate him but I totally understand how we have got here.

Trump isn't in thrall to Putin in my opinion. Trump wants access to the minerals Zelensky now controls. If Zelensky gives Trump what he wants, Trump will change sides.

Non Trump voters don't want to believe it because it is horrifying to contemplate. Trump supporter are basically cult like and so brainwashed that they don't care. If he admitted being a russian spy they'd still support him. This is a man who is guilty of crimes like rape and insurrection but they can and do look past that.

The January the 6th riots were just a glimpse of what is intended for the USA and it does not end in democracy.

Trump has started removing military leaders today. This will continue. In the same way as he wanted his own version of the gestapo during his first term.he now needs the military to be under his thrall because he will not transition in 4 years time.

I'm usually critical of the lax USA gun laws but the populace may well need them in the near future.
