This works out, I think, at a response every 45 seconds - all the way through the UK night. So from 18:45 till seven the next morning. It's as if no one slept in the whole country.

We were all too invested in the spare room and bed that somehow vanished...

But it was the best! I am going through a bit of a rough time at the moment and I spent the whole of the last evening laughing out loud. And I went in to check the thread as soon as I woke up. I am surprised I didn't have dreams about disappearing beds and rooms which simply must remain spare!
I am so grateful to MN for leaving the thread up. It really cheered me up.

Came to check the thread this evening to see if it made any sense yet. Sounded like a terrible GCSE maths word problem: "If I have four rooms, uncertain number of beds, and one OP who's vanished into thin air; how much is my share of an Airbnb?"

But she’s found a way for the tutor to teach double the students and save the parents money……
