Hello, just looking for a hand hold please! l’ve had so many health issues the last year l have felt l will never be well and now, since the early hours of last night l have had copious amounts of vomiting but no diarrhoea. I’m panicking because looking it up it says vomiting without the runs can be due to a bowel instruction. I know l sound crazy but as l say it’s been a challenging year! Anyway else had just vomiting?! Tia

Any time I have had noro it's only been vomiting! Sounds like that is what it is or maybe something you ate? Norovirus usually passes fairly quickly, within 24-48 hours

Don't worry, try and stay hydrated. If you're really worried call nhs24 for some advice and reassurance

Thank you so much, it’s good to hear you’ve only had vomiting too. I really ought to be pleased that l don’t have both ends going! X

Yes, several times. Try ice lollies if you can’t keep anything down. It will pass.

My son never gets diarrhoea with a vomiting bug, always just the sickness. Norovirus is at a high rate at the moment, hopefully the worst will have passed by tomorrow!

I hope you feel better soon! Noro is the worst but fingers crossed you get a decent sleep and feel much better in the morning 😊

If you had bowel obstruction, you would be vomiting shit. Literally. My step daughter and partner had noro a couple of years ago, I was running between them with buckets all night. The worst day of my life but at least neither of them shat themselves in bed. And somehow I managed not to get it!
