Breast screening..a bit anxious

Not AIBU. as such.
I'm having screening this afternoon.
My sister has just been diagnosed with breast cancer after her regular screening.
Thankfully she's had treatment and it's looking good for her.
The thing is...and I don't know if I'm being ridiculous here...my DH has terminal cancer..has 6 months left.
I'm so worried they will find a problem with my old knockers... I don't want anything to prevent me caring for him.. I've not got time for it.

Oh bless you. You’re doing the right thing by getting checked. There’s nothing anyone on here can say to get rid of your anxieties but just know that as soon as them results come back you will be armed with knowledge one way or another.

As someone once said to me, the trouble with worrying is nobody worries on time. You’re either worrying too early, or too late. At the moment, you’re definitely worrying too early, but that is of course totally understandable.

I hope it all goes well, and most importantly you get given a clean bill of health.
