Thrush or herpes

Hey, so 5 months ago my and partner had rough sex I cut and then washed in the shower down there. I remember going abit far and then the next day loads of cuts and discharge. I went drs they swabbed and only thrush come back. Come 3 days ago my partner cut me again a lot worse it was agony straight away. The next day it was swollen and I washed then looked and loads of little cuts around the area and discharge. I ordered thrush medication and it is healing. Do you think this is just a bad thrush case or herpes.

If you think it's herpes then get to the clinic urgently for a swab. Why does your partner keep tearing your vagina during sex? Are you able to tell him to stop?

It sounds pretty extreme if your partner is causing such damage to you.

Firstly, nobody here can tell you whether you’ve got thrush, herpes or anything else. You need to see a doctor or get to an STD clinic as soon as possible. What you’re describing could be many different things - thrush, herpes, a bacterial infection, or inflammation from the sex.

Secondly, are you consenting to sex as rough as this? And if so, why? Do you enjoy it enough to suffer this kind of worry and discomfort afterwards? I’m no shrinking violet when it comes to this sort of thing, and I don’t mind being a little bit sore afterwards at all. But ‘cuts and discharge’? Yeah, no thanks.

Thirdly, I wouldn’t be shagging this man again until he’s been tested for STDs too.

Please value yourself more. To experience cuts after sex is not 'normal'. I struggle to see how this can be enjoyable for you.
