I haven't got a clue! Big arena, mainstream band.

Anything you like and are comfortable in. This is not an event where any kind of a dress code is a factor. Dress for the supermarket or dress for a wedding I'd you want to.

Wear that then. Job done.

I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing that, I need to dress up a bit when I go out to feel nice. I'm asking because I very rarely go to gigs so I don't know what people wear.

I've always gone jeans, nice trainers (Adidas Gazelles for me) and a plain top -I do standing up at indie gigs though so want to be comfortable. Are you sitting? Anything you are going to be comfortable in really.

Jjff89 · 08/02/2025 21:25

Jeans, nice top, boots, jacket xx

Then wear anything you'd normally wear to go out in. There will 1000s of people there in all kinds of clothing. There's no particular look to fit in with.

crumpet · 08/02/2025 21:25

Tend not to wear shoes that I would hate getting covered in beer.

PullTheBricksDown · 08/02/2025 21:29

Yeah, trainers or shoes you can walk in for the end of evening exit and walk to the train / taxi rank / nearest transport hub.

Lots of fans of the act will wear their t shirts. I've done that but you can't go wrong with plain black top and jeans or comfortable trousers. It really isn't a dressing up situation.

It will be dark with lots of flashing lights, no-one will see what you're wearing.

But layers, because of the temperature variation caused by a large unheated space filled by thousand of people, who then start dancing about.

Wear what you like, people wear lots of different things.

newhousenewhouse · 08/02/2025 21:41

Jean's and trainers. Top and a jumper / cardigan you can wrap around your waist so dint have to put your coat in or carry it.

SleepingStandingUp · 08/02/2025 22:10

I'd either go skinny jeans and a nice t-shirt, or leggings and short dress. Comparable to a night down the pub where you want to be comfortable but make an effort

Who's it to see? Sitting or standing? I tend to run hot so wouldn't wear jumpers etc

obsessedwithfreshbread · 08/02/2025 22:54

I either go with Jeans and trainers, or miniskirt and tights with Docs, paired with a T'shirt and a lightweight jacket/hoodie I can tie around my waist.
Only exception was Taylor Swift and I wore ALL the sequins!!

UnderThePressure · 08/02/2025 23:27

I wear either skinny jeans, band t-shirt of similar band (but never the band I'm seeing lol) and Docs, or mini dress, leggings and Docs.

IzzyHandsIsMySpiritAnimal · 08/02/2025 23:37

Jeans, T-shirt (band one if you have it), trainers. Extra layer to put on when you leave as it'll feel cold.

OverpricedCupcake · 08/02/2025 23:43

Leggings, vest top, hoodie which will get tied round my waist.
Trainers I don't care about because I like to be at the front and they'll get stood on.
Always dress for temperature and comfort and I choose leggings over jeans so I can shove a water bottle down the back on the way in.

Sugarfish · 08/02/2025 23:49

Who are you going to see? Some fandoms have a bit of a uniform, for lack of a better word.

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 08/02/2025 23:54

Leggings with a long vest and a shirt over ? Jeans, T shirt, hoodie or jacket? Flat boots or trainers. I have seen people in dresses, not what I would wear but others do.

Summerbay23 · 09/02/2025 00:04

Jeans, tshirt, trainers or anything you like. Really anything! Even a ballgown if worn ironically with trainers. Whatever you feel comfortable in.

Amberjane41 · 09/02/2025 00:09

gigs are usually really casual. I go to lots and I would personally wear jeans, leather biker jacket, docs and a band t shirt but I usually go to punk/rock/metal gigs. Who are you seeing?
