Curious what you do at weekends if you have an only child
My Dc is 6.5, curious about all ages though really.

This weekend we are chilling playing computer games this morning, then I'll take DD to bouldering.
Tomorrow we are going for a little spa day.

We go to parks, the beach, local children's farms and things (rural area) and usually either see either my parents or in laws for a cuppa/Sunday roast. Fortunately me and dh also both have sibling with children so there are cousins around for ds to play with at weekends and we meet up with them often.

I do let him go on the PlayStation when we get back home and don't really limit that at weekends but I do limit it during the week.

Have a 4yr old and weekends are spent trying to catch up on housework. Try to get her outside for some fresh air at least once a day so maybe a walk to a playground or she likes a babychinno so we will walk over to starbucks. Some sundays there is a toddler sports class in a nearby hall so we go to that and my partner is going to start taking her to football soon.

She plays with her toys and we do some drawing/crafts together and some cooking/baking.

Same as most families with one, two, three four etc kids by the sounds of it.
Usually a mix of chilling, any jobs that need doing, going out, different activities etc. We make sure she gets fresh air / exercise every day, weekday or weekend.
An only child is part of your family, so does what the family is doing. You don’t have to schedule back to back activities solely for them across the whole weekend.
