Teetotal but made to feel like a freak

So I’ve been with my partner a few months, he’s a drinker, maybe three of four drinks of an evening and more at the weekend.I’m teetotal having witnessed family members become alcoholic. Horrendous.
To cut a long story short my partners fronds are all drinkers, their friendships seem to centre around drinking. Each time we see them they always have to unleash some bitchy jibes about me not drinking and drinking sparkling water all the time and I just laugh it off but to be honest it really does piss me off.. I respect their choices why the hell can’t they accept mine and leave me to enjoy my Evian in peace 😆
His friends keep saying things like “ Oh we are surprised you’re with a non drinker “ etc etc and it just all feels a bit catty …
One friend bought us a bottle of booze and two glasses for Christmas saying it was for us to share even those she knows I’m teetotal … I wish I had the courage to issue a retort but I don’t … maybe I’m being too sensitive … AIBU?

Sorry but 3 or 4 drinks every evening, plus weekends he has a serious drinking problem

its not going to work, so finish it and move on

I don’t drink, none of my friends make any comment about it

He needs to stick up for you or maybe you need a better / more compatible boyfriend. My DP is teetotal and I wouldn't dream of letting anyone pick on him for it. However we don't do activities that focus around alcohol - I am not much of a drinker either. I don't think either of us would date someone who wanted out at the pub every weekend as it isn't what we enjoy doing.

Yes he had a thorough medical for his job ..all came back fine …a clean bill of health! I was a little surprised to say the least!

That’s good. But I’d be shocked if they properly checked his liver and it was ok!

I'd be more inclined to try and make his friends look ridiculous when they start their crap.

"Oh, you are rather obsessed with forcing women to drink alcohol, aren't you, Graham? That's very concerning - I hope you don't do that on dates..."

Just wanted to thank each and every one of you who took the time to respond with your sage words of advice. Means a lot! It seems I have a lot of thinking to do regards my relationship and how alcohol is impacting upon it . I agree … the friends issue is only one aspect of it and I need to ask myself if we are compatible given he’s a heavy drinker and where our relationship may or may not be heading as a result …Bless you all for your kindness ♥️
