Ghosts and woo

I was watching the new series of Uncanny earlier and wondered if anyone had any stories of their own to share?

I understand this is a very controversial topic on here and many don't believe, but equally many people have had experiences they can't explain in their life.

Does anyone have any stories, even if you're not a believer but have seen or experienced something you're not able to rationally explain? 👻

Years ago I got home from college and was on my own I was about 17 I think.

I was standing at the kitchen sink peeling potatoes before my parents came home when I start to feel a prickly sensation down my neck and back I looked to my right and there was what I can only describe as a sort of pixilated image about 6ft tall as I looked down I saw the beginnings of feet and trousers legs.

I remember being really frightened I looked away quickly told myself it wasn't happening and then it was gone. No idea what it was to this day.

😆 no, it has been said that there are ley lines and some odd pagan happenings around the area but we were the first to build then others followed plot by plot. Not sure if any of the neighbours had anything odd happen.

I lived in a very strange house as a student. It had lots of odd goings on, such as hearing the sounds associated with other people moving around and voices, only to realise there had been nobody else home all day. I saw lots of strange things and genuinely felt like I was losing my mind sometimes.

it had a very strange feeling, and was horribly creepy at night, all except my room which was calm and a sanctuary. One day I was moving furniture and the carpet came up. I discovered that someone had carved runes into the floorboards all around the room. Someone offered an opinion that they were runes of protection.

In a previous house I felt uneasy and watched. I felt it when I viewed the property but it had so much potential and I thought I was being silly. Despite renovating ittop to bottom the house felt depressing, as soon as you stepped inside you could feel the change.
One night I was relaxing in bed on my phone and I saw a tall figure wearing a hat. There was nothing that could have caused a trick of the eye and I was wide awake. I moved out before the first year was up.

There's a road driving towards a nearby village that I swear I saw someone walking along and they just vanished. It's a windy country road with steep banks and high hedges. I'm not the only person that has seen them.

You are all hallucinating in some way. Your mind is playing tricks on you. It's really common and clearly a much more reasonable explanation than anything supernatural.

Genuinely don't get why pretending ghosts are real is fun. They're not.
