Confused about DS and possible sickness?

My 6 year old DS just woke up crying saying he had been sick. We went up to his bedroom and there was a wet patch, but ok closer inspection it was (sorry TMI coming up) more mucous/ slimy and clear in colour with some sort of green snotty bits in it. It didn’t smell like sick either. So I’m not sure what this is? He seems fine now and had a drink of water.
Should I be concerned? I was expecting a bed full of sick - so I’m a bit confused.

Could possibly be hunger pukes, when you’ve not eaten since last evening, you sometimes bring up in the morning, whatever is left in stomach, which is mainly liquid. If it’s a one off and there’s no temperature and he’s feeling ok, then hopefully it’s just a one off. If he hasn’t eaten since tea time yesterday, maybe he needs to have a snack before bedtime.

Oh I see - perhaps. I’ve just given him some dry bread to eat (in case) and he’s eaten it quite quickly so maybe he was hungry.

Iis he a bit snotty? It could be a bit of snotty vomit from a cold or post nasal drip.

He’s not particularly snotty , he’s got a little bit of a cough. But nothing major.
I’m thinking it could even be acid reflux maybe. Anyway I’ll monitor it. So far he’s been fine since. No tummy ache or anything.

I've experienced that kind of thing with acid reflux or with wretching through coughing so much.

I don’t think it was through coughing so maybe acid reflux. I don’t think we’ll ever know. Hopefully just a one off.
