Winning the Lottery

I'm winning the double rollover tonight - got my ticket and feeling spectacularly lucky. Previous tickets I've hoped to win haven't come through, so I'm going into tonight with confidence and seeing if that makes a difference.

Planned out my winnings which covers the 5 mil ~ dream house purchase, enough to invest and draw on for a decent style of living for the rest of my life, helping family/friends clear their mortgages/debt. Buying a Birkin 😎

AIBU to ask what I'd be sending you with some of the rest? I have about £400,000 to play with, though want to spread it around a bit. Only overly indulgent gifts you'd never buy yourself but secretly really, really want are allowed.

This is kind of boring but we went cheap on our upstairs carpets six years ago and could do with them being replaced. Your thread prompted me to buy a ticket though and the numbers looked liked potential winners, so might be able to buy my own.

If I win I'll treat you to the fluffiest carpets known to man 😉 Though if you win, I'll silently hold a grudge for the rest of my life that the lotto gods found you more favourable than me!

Could I have a kitten or small cat please. We have just bought a new (to us) three seater settee and with one cat at each end it’s leaving a very bare space in the middle. Must be female, general moggie, colour not important. Thanks in advance

Ahhh I don't know, maybe 150k for a small extension if that's okay, would be lovely to make a larger living space downstairs for hosting and parties, you must come for a bbq to celebrate once the work is complete my partner will cook as it's not my thing

I want a short holiday for myself. Not with my husband or two young children. On my own. 3 nights in an all inclusive hotel. I want not to have to cook or clean and enjoy a mediocre buffet and bad wine. All alone.

Good idea to be ready to send Mumsnet evidence of your win tomorrow. There are probably threads on here from some quite deluded people who believe that they will be lottery winners, and there has to be some way of indicating which are genuine.

@LottoWinner very keen for a joint spree! It also wouldn’t be a fair test if we didn't actually try them for exercise, so we’d prob have to tag on a spa day so we can do a yoga class too! A bit of peace from our respective noisy 5yos might make the leggings even comfier 😁

Please advice me on a career path as i have a set of Triplets 2.5years that just started preschool.I need to keep busy and earn some money too.

I am a special needs Teaching assistant but have not worked since they were born as wanted to do the starting bits myself and childcare is too expensive.

Please could you buy my neighbours' house, so we can combine ours and theirs into one larger property?

My neighbours are very nice and I don't want to do the dirty on them. Perhaps you could buy the house across the road for them, so they don't have to move far?
