Do you know any real life rags to riches stories?

We hear so much about rags to riches stories in the media and movies, but I wonder if anyone has seen this happen in real life. Do you know someone who went from struggling financially to achieving great success? Or maybe you’ve experienced something like this yourself?

I’d love to hear real-life examples - what made the difference for them? Was it hard work, luck, or something else entirely?

A relative won the lottery; moved to a different country; spent the lot. Rags to riches to rags within 20 years!

I don't believe in any of this nonsense of making on your own. Wealth comes from inheritance or marriages. Yes, you can maybe open a business and be successful but where is the initial money from? it's always from a loan or someone from a family giving you a little hand. Marriages as well. This 'made on their own,, had absolutely nothing.' is a lie.

Most of the families who are very successful have their wealth from stealing in the past, exploiting people.
