Has anyone heard this song
I heard it other other day and was so so shocked by the lyrics I nearly had a heart attack 😂
Why do mainstream artists bring out utter filth like this. I really don’t like my kids (teenage) hearing this garbage….ive listened to some garbage in my time but it’s another level and is shocking to me coming from such a popular artist.
I know everyone will be like well they will hear it on YouTube/tiktok…..but I’d really like it not to be coming up on Spotify which they listen to alot 🫣

@ThreeCheersFor5Years
are you a bot or something? Have you even got kids????

Yeah I wondered this too. ^ I think there are several on here. 😬

See we can't even make it up.

I do like the tune 'round and round the garden' and I may now be humming this and hearing those nonsensical lyrics in my head for the next week or so.

😂

I can only interpret that verse as implying that there are other female persons in the room, playing an auxiliary role.

greengreyblue · 27/01/2025 20:43

To be fair it’s the female ‘artist’ that should be condemned. Is that all you’ve got love? Great female role model. 🙄

I will not listen to it on purpose but it sounds to me like he wants to be cancelled in the same way that Robin Thicke was (and to a lesser degree Pharrell Williams) with their awful song from a few years back.

Their "awful song" implied sexual abuse
This is a song about female sexual enjoyment
They are very different

greengreyblue · 27/01/2025 20:47

I don’t think it’s about enjoyment, it’s a brag about how wet her vagina is.

CoffeeGood · 27/01/2025 20:49

ThreeCheersFor5Years · 27/01/2025 20:33

Cheers for that. No and yes. You clearly don’t take any responsibilities for what your children are consuming - you didn’t even know how to block a song on Spotify. Well done hun xx

You do know that not all music that OP's children might hear comes from the OP's Spotify account? People play music out loud all over the place, on the bus, other kids playing it at school, etc.

So you might be oh so clever in restricting YOUR Spotify account, and feel so smug and superior because YOU have taken responsibility for what your child is consuming. But what about places you cannot control? On the bus, at school, walking down the street etc? I don't know how old your children are but can you honestly say that you'd be happy for children to listen to those lyrics as long as it's not in your house?

There is a 'clean' edit of it on Spotify. Interestingly the word Clit is left in..

well, it's just an abbreviation for the accurate scientific name of a specific body part. it's not a swearword.

Dweetfidilove · 27/01/2025 20:49

BatchCookBabe · 27/01/2025 20:25

Seems somewhat counter-productive. I don't know a single soul who would pay for this drivel. Why not release something really good? Confused

It will be the young folks maybe . I had to stop listening 🤷🏾‍♀️

IMustDoMoreExercise · 27/01/2025 20:50

OMG.

I was just telling my husband about it and was too embarrassed to read out the lyrics!

This. ^ Anyone who thinks this is somehow 'empowering' for women, is utterly deluded. This is misogynistic drivel. I'm embarrassed for anyone who claims they like it!

Greyrockin · 27/01/2025 20:55

this thread has made me think of Chuck Berry’s “My ding-a-ling” song that me and my sister used to innocently sing along to in the 70’s (we knew it was rude, but weren’t quite sure why). Such innocent times…

Then it’s up to her to put those blockers in place or teach them the song is inappropriate. It isn’t other people responsibility to shelter your children.

You really think music artists should be restricted on what they can create just incase your darling child hears it on a bus? It’s ridiculous to think that’s how life works.

Yeah, I can imagine most people who think this song is 'great' to be aged between 12 and 17, and probably still a virgin who giggles at the thought of having sex, and says things like fannies, bums, and titties.

This 'song' should be taken out of the existence so NO member of the public can hear it, because it's SHITE!

Indeed. But pussy is not,.in itself, a swear word or explicit but is still removed. It's just interesting that pussy was too much but clit is fine

SprinkleOfSunak · 27/01/2025 21:04

I saw this thread and typed in Bruno Mars and Google added ‘fat juicy and wet lyrics.’ I assumed this was the song in question. I pulled a disgusted face and clicked on the top search result and was totally repulsed!

This is just pure filth, and I can’t quite believe my eyes, nor can I begin to think of the melody or tune that would accompany it.

I’ve never liked Bruno Mars, and have always found him repulsive and creepy, and this song has exacerbated this.

heyhopotato · 27/01/2025 21:04

I was a kid when Eminem started getting really big so I can't see it being much worse that some of his lyrics we all used to rap in the playground.

To be honest with all the stuff about men in the music industry coming out, it sounds like the lyrics aren't much different to real life for most, in fact they probably abuse and traumatise women and children much more in real life.

FaeFay · 27/01/2025 21:08

Well that's Bruno blocked on my Spotify

Thanks for heads up

Pass the bleach

JRSKSSBH · 27/01/2025 21:12

Just filthy and disgusting. I used to like him. No more. wtf is wrong with people? Pure porn.

Sushiandunagi · 27/01/2025 21:12

dunno… seems a suitable anthem for the era when Bonnie Blue and That other girl make front pages… I wonder what’s the next step up of moral degradation … pardon me, liberation… is going to be.

BatchCookBabe · 27/01/2025 21:12

@heyhopotato Eminem never released ANYTHING like this. Bruno's song is really vile and sexually graphic and demeaning to women.
