Bought a rotisserie chicken from Morrisons on Saturday. Will it still be ok to eat today in sandwiches? Its been in the fridge ever since.

Yes last day for me too

MumonabikeE5 · 27/01/2025 11:33

I’d boil it in a soup. But that’s my caution maybe

Nebula360 · 27/01/2025 11:56

Is there any other way I could use it? I just don’t want to throw it away, seems a huge waste but don’t want to risk food poisoning.

Rake all the meat off the bones, chop it up and freeze what you don't use today. Use in a soup or a pasta bake or something.

I'd use it. Make a curry with it or a pie? Have it in a sandwich or just with chips.

Saturday was only 2 days ago. It'll be fine. Like others I'd stretch to tomorrow, but then chuck.

It’s only Monday midday so not three days.

I would eat it today as the last day.
