Seriously, since Sunday he's been a lion called Tigs. This morning, when I was explaining to people who this new child was, thought I was saying his name was 'Tits'. .

can you say it a bit more like 'tigger'?
tig(uh)s

Well, I'm hoping he'll go back to his normal name soon [optimistic] [deluded]

Anyway, DS1 named him, it's short for 'Tigsy' or something, maybe I can try to move him over to that. He's quite sure it's 'Tigs' though.

Lol, good imagination!
We often call our dd Milly and when she was a few months old someone asked her name- when I replied she said 'Smelly?' Er, yes, I called her smelly after her dad called stinky

NotQuiteCockney · 06/05/2008 15:21

Oooh, I have a niece called Stinky, maybe they're related?

Seriously, someone did once think that DS1's name was 'Madness'.

My DD1 named her hands Po and Bedoo once..

Although yesterday she corrected me - now they are called TomTom and FlipFlop

I don't fully count this as an imaginary game - Tigs is the pet lion of Hercules (DS1) and Theseus (DS1's friend), so it's a more social thing.

Maybe Tigs can replace Heady, DS2's 'little brother' who:

  • is older than DS2
  • lives on an island in a local park (the police will come get us and take us to him for a visit ... when it snows)
  • is sometimes a cat
  • is sometimes dead
  • is sometimes Roman
  • has a lovely hunting dog (or pig?)
etc etc etc
