How did you celebrate your milestone birthdays?

I have a big birthday in a few months time and I'm really struggling on how to celebrate it . I'm looking for inspiration from what other people have done. Friends are asking what I'm doing for it and I'm beginning to feel a bit of pressure. My budget is £500...

Oh I am quite old and never been rich so 40th: went to Alton Towers with family. 50th: Went out with friends for meal. 60th: BBQ with friends & family.

30th; about 20 people at a little quirky private venue in Islington- I sat in a throne, staff served the drinks we bought with us and also served a meal. Music, dancing.
40th: big party at a hall, brought our own booze, music system etc.
50th: little gathering of friends at house.
60th : planned for later this year- friends and families hiring a chateau in France with a pool.

We take short trips as a friendship group. 3-4 days somewhere warm-ish and cheap-ish.
