to think that we shouldn't have to go to work on a sunny day

Honestly - it's just too nice to be at work today.

I think all sunny days should be classed as formal holidays. They're too precious.

Actually, could DH be made to stay at work? He gets bored easily and annoys me, lol!

Which is why I negotiated years ago to finish work at 2.30pm each day

I am assuming ice cream vendors, swimming pool attendants and people selling charcoal for barbecues would be exempt from this plan...?

You need to go and work for Innocent smoothies! I think they get sunny afternoons off

I was just thinking how glad I was that I'd managed to arrange maternity leave for summer and wishing it started earlier - just know that we're going to have a glorious spring and rubbish summer like last year!

Well I spent my day at work at the park eating a picnic, then chatting in the garden with a friend and then at the park - it was most enjoyable
