Would all these comments put you off on a date?

I've been chatting for a guy for a while and saw him for the 3rd time on Saturday (he came to mine). He made some really gross comments which have put me off. Worst thing is he has ended up ghosting me!
He was late and said it was cos he had a nervous poo and had to have a shower afterwards (he has ocd)
He said he was on some new medication that have made him constipated and he had to end up pulling the shit out himself.
He talked about the time he accidentally ran over a deer, and I said that was sad and he said it shouldn't have got in my way then.
Told me has had 3 serious car crashes In his life and seems to think that's good going!

I think he was trying to come across funny with some of the comments but they didn't really have that effect. He never seems like this via text.

Why another thread, do you expect the responses to be different from yesterday?

Quellesupris · 21/01/2025 21:58

Urgh. Not exactly sexy talk. Good riddance

GoldenPineapple15 · 21/01/2025 21:59

Yuck ! 🤮

whaddayawannado · 21/01/2025 21:59

By text he has time to engage his brain before pressing send, but he seems to be remarkably lacking in the same skill when it involves talking in person.

Dinosweetpea · 21/01/2025 22:02

Run.

D0llydaydreamz · 21/01/2025 22:05

On your way shitty bum

category12 · 21/01/2025 22:05

Sounds like he was trying to put you off.

Why aren't you put off?

DisappearingGirl · 21/01/2025 22:07

He is unpleasant and has now ghosted you.

Yes this would put me off.

Circumferences · 21/01/2025 22:08

Instead of asking if someone with mental health issues would put random people on the internet off of going on another date, surely the question is do his comments put YOU off? They do, is your answer and your the only person who matters here.

Deeperthantheocean · 21/01/2025 22:19

TMI too soon and his attitude to the deer would be an immediate NO for me. He's ghosted you anyway so be relieved. May be someone who does this just to get kicks. Run...fast...away......ugh

Endofyear · 21/01/2025 22:19

I can't imagine anyone that wouldn't put off by him. If he's ghosted you, consider it a lucky escape 😳

healthybychristmas · 21/01/2025 22:28

We really need Mrs Merton here now.

Divastrout · 22/01/2025 04:27

Block ignore and delete then run!!🏃‍♀️‍➡️

Paisleyandpolkadots · 22/01/2025 05:16

He couldn't have ghosted me because I'd have been running so fast in the opposite direction. I suggest you take the same approach.

username299 · 22/01/2025 05:20

The only explanation I can think of is that his anxiety forces him to blurt things out. If he's not like that via messaging then I'm guessing he's mortified at his behaviour and ghosted you.

Forfucksake84 · 22/01/2025 13:39

There was also another one I've remembered: he has 3 daughters and said he was disappointed each time it was a girl as he always wanted a son

Gosh he gets better and better - a real winner 😭.

Cotonsugar · 22/01/2025 13:46

What a charmer. Lucky that you were ghosted, saves you the bother of doing the same to him.

ItGhoul · 22/01/2025 15:49

I think most people would be put off by a man who, after only three dates, told you he'd pulled shit out of his arsehole. I'm not really sure why you'd need to ask the question.

Surely it's a good thing that he's ghosted you - I mean, surely you weren't intending to go on another date with him anyway? Now you don't have to have the awkwardness of dumping him, which I assume you were intending to do anyway.

2025willbemytime · 22/01/2025 15:57

Why would you post this? FFS.

Just to make sure I'm not overreacting if he was saying them in a jokey manner

Floatlikeafeather2 · 22/01/2025 16:54

Why are you asking this now? It didn't put you off sleeping with him or letting him stay the night, according to your other post (in Relationships). In that one you also said he'd let you down before so I really don't know where you're coming from. But if you really want an answer, yes it would put me off and he wouldn't have had chance to ghost me because I would have told him to leave. I absolutely would not have slept with him.

If you think you're overreacting, it's not a good idea to be dating.

Member869894 · 23/01/2025 04:29

Why on earth would you let a stranger into your home after only meeting him twice??
