Why are so many posters so critical of women?

Time and time again I see people starting a thread about a difficult situation they are in hoping to receive help and support. Only to find that within a few posts somebody has started the criticize them for the choices that they've made whilst offering no help whatsoever. It seems to happen with alarming regularity. I thought women were better than this? I thought this place was about supporting women not (smugly) criticizing.

Because judging and criticising makes people feel better about their own life choices 💁‍♀️

But it sucks, yes. And we should do/be better.

Anonymity brings out the worst in people.
Add angry to the anonymous people and you get a lot of forums.

They want to kick people while theyre down and make them feel as bad as they do.
