As you must know, it's not simply elective abortion; it's issues such as whether women with ectopic pregnancies or haemorrhaging whilst pregnant can have the pregnancy terminated to save their lives, whether young girls and women who have been raped and abused have to carry on with pregnancy, whether babies with incurable life-terminating conditions have to go through childbirth and a short and painful life when that can be avoided, whether women can take certain medications to rectify hormonal problems, etc etc.

I would hate to be a girl or woman of childbearing age in the US right now.

And that's before I even start on issues such as the danger posed to everyone in the US by firearms.
