I sat next to him in the bar at the hotel Crillon in Paris while on holiday with DH years ago. We had just got engaged that night and were staying there, we went back to the bar for a drink and we were the only people in there as it was late. We were all sat at the bar. DH was taking a photo of me complete with new ring and Ralph spent the entire time hiding behind his hands.
