The most disgusting thing just happened

Was changing my toddler who'd done a poo in her pull up. Always find pull ups trickier to change than nappies. Just as I was about to take it off she kicked her leg and the whole poo flicked into her face! It was genuinely disgusting but after we'd cleaned her up and got over the trauma I started to really worry that it may have gotten into her mouth or eyes and may cause problems. She's been properly washed but I'm worried about pinkeye or other bacteria!!!

For future changes, rip the pull up sides open instead of pulling down like pants. She'll be fine.

It's her own poo and 'fresh' so I don't think it will be carrying any diseases unless she already had them so I think she'll be fine. (Not a doctor)

I did on one side but the other wouldn't rip so I made a grave error of judgement and thought I'd just be able to pull it off. I will never do it again.

Mine reached down as a baby and put a handful of poo in her mouth...all fine apparently as long as it's their own. It didn't stop her from trying to do it again...

It'll be ok. Trust me you are in for plenty of disgusting moment's as a parent. Some day you'll look back at this and laugh.
