Constant illnesses

My LO had the horrible flu virus over Xmas, seemed to get over it and after being back at nursery. The end of week 1 we had another fever/sore throat etc. The fever settled over the weekend and he seemed back to himself. Back at nursery again this week and it’s came to Friday again and his temp is on the rise again. He is snottery etc. Looking for reassurance that this is normal! Feel like he has been constantly unwell since Xmas after catching the flu 😔

Since Jan 1st we've had a two vomiting bugs, scarlet fever needing OOH antibiotics and I think one of mine is now starting with hand foot and mouth. It's been a real treat, I feel your pain.

Just keep him hydrated and let him sleep. It's usual for flu to wax and wane in babies - if he's still showing a fever by next week, get advice. If his lips or fingers turn blue or he has a seizure, call 111. Good luck!
