She opened a bottle of drink yesterday and ended up cracking her back tooth, pieces of teeth were coming out. Anyway, got a filling in today but she will have to have the whole tooth out at some point so got a referral. Tonight she was eating even though dentist told her to eat other side and filling has come out? Is it an emergency or can or wait ?

It's not an emergency yet but could become one if it gets infected or painful.

Is it possible to get an appointment for tomorrow to get the filling done again or speed up the referral and just get the tooth out to prevent this happening again?

Can you put a temporary filling in until shes seen by the dentist again? It will only work if theres a decent amount of tooth to adhere to.

the dentist filled it in today and said the wait to have her tooth out is 40 weeks! I called emergency number and he said 8am tomorrow and 50 quid I feel awful but can’t afford 50! I could ring her usual dentist at 9am and get her in somehow
