Shrinkflation.....monster munch crisps/snacks

I swear they are shrinking.....now a measly seven!!! Crisps in a bag??? Devastated 😩 🤣 yes its a tongue in cheek post. The bag size is now a very teeny tiny 20 grams......will not be buying again

It's beyond a joke at this point. I barely buy any snack foods anymore. Tracker bars have gone up to £2 and they're now the size of my index finger

I squeezed a bag of mini eggs yesterday and I swear there were less than 10 in there, maybe 12 at a push, for a whopping £1.75!!

Me and my partner opened a box of cadburys cream eggs yesterday. I swear they have less girth. Its like they are playing an optical illusion to convince me i am wrong but i am certain they are thinner

They will be individually wrapping a single crisp and have the nerve of calling it a packet of crisps next.

YANBU but I also think a lot of crisps now are 99 cals a bag and therefore they only have about 5 crisps in.

Yeah it bad - but at least it means you eat less crap. It's too expensive!

I've only just felt comfortable going back to Monster Munch after they fiddled about with them before finally restoring the POMM to its former glory. And now they pull this fast one??

I bought a treacle tart this week for the first time in a year. It was tiny.

I bought a ‘grab bag’ of McCoys the other day from the petrol station to keep me going until I got home and I’m convinced the amount of crisps in the grab bags are the same as what used to be in the normal sized multipack bags.

The whole food industry in this country is a complete rip off at the minute. I tend to only buy own brand crisps now and don’t buy as many. Can’t even tell you the last time I had monster munch, quavers, walkers etc in my house. I refuse to pay the prices for them!

A colleague at work buys the big share bags of crisps and splits them up into portions for her kids lunchboxes. She uses those reusuable silicone bags for them so they keep fresh. I thought that was a really good idea so I might give it a go.

@satsumaqueen that's a brilliant idea!!!! Unfortunately I have teenagers and they tend to inhale everything 🤣🤣

I find the solution to this problem is to either eat all 6 bags in the multi pack or buy and eat the whole of one of those big 'sharing' bags. I obviously don't share.
