aibu to be worried about a blood test im having for ovarian cancer. Scan of ovaries showed nothing but they want to do blood test too. I think it’s just to rule it out but I’m getting scared about it. I suffer with health anxiety. I’m trying to reassure myself that surely it would have showed up on ultrasound if there was anything. Can anyone help?

If the scan of your ovaries showed nothing, the blood test is simply to look at your hormone levels etc and see if there's anything else going on that could be causing whatever symptoms you have. They're not doing a blood test because they think you might have cancer. They're doing a blood test because they don't think you have cancer.
