To not trust my DH when it comes to DS being ill

He’s got such a nonchalant attitude to illness, even if there are very worrying signs that would warrant a check up.
When DS (now 6) was a baby he had broncholoitis - I called 111 and they sent an ambulance, he was admitted for 24 hours. If it was up to my DH we wouldn’t have called up at all - he thought there was nothing wrong and I was exaggerating, despite DS clearly pulling in under his neck and ribs and fast breathing.
I do worry that if he’s looking after him on his own he’ll miss something vital.

Your son is 6 now, not a baby, so unsure why you still have concerns, unless your other half is habitually incompetent?

What's the point of ruminating on something that happened 6 years ago? 8 years ago I punctured my finger while using a sewing machine and required a surgery. This doesn't mean I have not learned how to keep myself safe following this incident and should never be allowed to use a sewing machine unsupervised.
