Undescended testicle

Hi all,
Anyone any experience on a child having this done in Ireland / UK hospital? Anyone know what the aftercare is? School / swimming / sport etc? He’s 6. Waiting since birth and got an appt but no info on afterwards etc just literally an app later. Any info would be great thanks

My son had this procedure at Great Ormond Streett when he was 3. He had a cut on his abdomen and one on his testicle.
As you can imagine, there was discomfort for a few weeks and it's a pain keeping the wound clean and dry but no major inconvenience....I kept him off nursery for around 2 weeks. Hope that helps xx

Thanks @Merryfuckingchristmas876 glad it worked out for you. I can imagine it’s hard to keep it clean and dry and also as my boy is older, the school yard and boys games won’t help!
