I haven't got a clue!
DD got engaged on Christmas day. Her fiance is lovely and I'm very happy about it.
They bought a house together last year and have been together 8 years.
Should I get them something or take them out to dinner?
DC's df is not featured. So not too spenny. 🤣

yeah, dinner sounds great!

Ah good. They're very niche in style. Gifts are really difficult.

Dinner definitely! Or, I’ve seen people gift a nice bottle of wine / champagne you can get engraved with the date and their names etc? Some people open them on their weddings. Might be worth a look x

That's a lovely idea 💡 thank you 🙂

Link here and ignore if they don’t drink for whatever reason and accept my apologies !

What a lovely gift idea!

I don’t think engagements gifts are a thing. Especially not if you plan to contribute to the wedding.
