Nothing is touching the pain

I usually get a little tenderness a few days before my period but it’s not even due until next weekend and this pain is like nothing else

it’s not just a dull ache - it’s agony to the point I can’t sleep and have to wear a soft bra the entire time just so I can walk around without them making me cry

I’m 38 and no menopausal signs ( I’ve read this can be a symptom )

I’ve tried warm compresses / hot baths - anyone else had this?

Go to the GP Urgently! I say this having recently lost my SIL to breast cancer at 39.

If this isn't your norm, you have to speak to your GP. Any changes need investigation. Good luck.

You need to speak to your GP. That being said mine recommended star flower oil for breast pain so if it’s nothing sinister try that

If you are genuinely crying with pain you need to go to A&E. I say this as a nurse.

I have actually had lots of checks for breast cancer due to some cysts I had - only just before Christmas

I will be going to the GP first thing - I just wondered if this could be hormone related as everywhere keeps saying pregnancy but tests are negative ( although 6 days until I’m due ) and never had this with my other 3 pregnancies

Yes, Starflower Oil is supposed to be very good for this
