Is this oral thrush ? Adult (photo)

Anyone know if this could be oral thrush? I have white spots and my tongue is cracking and sore

Hard to tell really (I have persistent oral thrush and am under two specialists for it). Generally it’s more white but if you have Sjögren’s (as I do) you often can’t make the coating so it’s just red and sore. And a lot of peoples tongues look exactly like this when they’re normal. I think if you think you have it you need to seek medical advice. You used to be able to buy Daktarin oral gel over the counter but it’s been discontinued for a while now due to stock issues so you’ll need a prescription for Nystatin. Or you could buy a one off Fluconazole 150mg capsule from the pharmacy but ideally 50mg per day is better for treating oral thrush and you’ll need that prescribed.
