Parents moving away

My children are 4 and 5. My parents are moving 6000 miles away and taking my grandmother with them. This leaves my husband and I with no other family. It’s their dream to live in a warmer climate. Of course we want to support their dream. However, it’s quite daunting raising our family with no family around. We don’t need them for babysitting - but want them to have a close relationship with their grandchildren.

Aw that's sad for you. Of course, they could stay and you might end up moving away from them.
Is it somewhere that would be nice for you to spend your summers? Send the kids out there when they're a bit older?

That's some distance, so presumably not somewhere within a 3-4 hour flight range.

But you are an adult and they are entitled to live their dream.

They’ve all done their bit child raising. Look forward to happy holidays together.

12 hr flight. Yes they are entitled of course. Feel a little bit heart broken. I am an adult and maybe I just have to grow up

Move with them? Failing that there is no reason for them not to do this, you can’t live your whole life just for other people.
