The gossipy thread about Mumsnet has me 😂 at times. It’s like sitting on a bus or at the pub and listening in on another party’s interesting convo about people you know nothing about. I’ve found some entertaining topics on here, by eavesdropping on the MN thread over there. 👋😆🍿

This thread reminded me I joined there a few years ago so I just went and checked and logged in. I'd totally forgotten about that place. Why do you need a code now?

Tattle is bloody brilliant. Gets a bad rap but honestly people are way nastier in here. Though I only really frequent forums about awful family vloggers who are exploiting their kids and trying to stop them.

I agree some comments can be nasty! The mumsnet threads are hilarious! Yes it says you need an invitation code because they are at capacity. There was a person a year or 2 ago who was locating people on there and contacting their employers and allkinds!!!

I've been desperate for a code for years. I don't know if members even have the ability to give them out these days.

If you think Tattle is bad you'd hate KiwiFarms!! (so bad it's been booted off the internet completely and is only on the dark web)

Members can give out codes, but I'd be very, very surprised if anyone will. If someone you give a code to behaves badly it can result in you being banned too for letting them in, so I doubt anyone will give one to someone they don't know.

It's not on the Dark Web...I'm looking at it on Chrome right now. There's a lot of nonsense and posturing on the Farms, but also a lot of truth and honesty.

Totally agree with your view on it, the majority of negative publicity out there about it isn't my experience of it.

Someone on Tattle took pity on a mumsnetter a while back and gave them a code. The mumsnetter was banned from Tattle shortly after and the code supplier very lucky to keep their account.
It’s not a risk anyone is going to take for someone they don’t know.

Why can't I find it? Is it via a proxy or something? Where are people accessing it? I can't find any trace of it.... Only articles from 2022 when it got banished.

Is it a closed shop then? If no one can share a code how do new people join? I've no interest in joining but am intrigued on how they keep the numbers up.

Members can refer, but they are very selective as to who the refer. Friends and family for the most part. People they trust.

I love Tattle! I've not been over there in a bit but I love how ruthless they are against talentless plastic Z listers and vacuous influencers.

I read there but don't post due to the scarcity of codes. They were on the money with Jack Monroe - still are - and those threads are hilarious.

I know KF is seen as a no-go for a lot of people, but that board is pretty much what early 00s internet boards were like. It's nothing out of the ordinary for a lot of us older denizens. Granted it's not very nice, but it wasn't back then. It was brutal and ruled by assholes.
