It's constant.

Tonight is a more mild example. He lives 5 minutes away.

He said he will be over in 20 minutes, will let me know when he leaves. It's now been 45 minutes and no text or update. I'm sure he will end up being over an hour.

AIBU to be pissed off by this? I'd love to know the amount of time I've spent waiting around for him. I wouldn't mind, if he could just send an update or courtesy text.

You are definitely NOT BU, so why not dump him if this is annoying you so much? It's obviously a habit with him, and if you find it irritating at this stage, the longer you're together, the more it will bother you. Get rid and find someone who actually values you.

CatsndtheBear · 10/01/2025 23:22

People who are late are telling you that they value their time more than yours.

They are saying (without actually saying it) that their faffing around and inability (lack of care) to make the effort is what they think of you.

How long have you been together cos when I was younger, if a guy was heading over to mine after 10pm (assuming you're in the UK) he wasn't a DP and it was most definitely a booty call.

This is his MO. He's always late and he'll continue to be late
