I was ordering an item on prime for my DH that he asked me to get. We looked at a few different ones and I asked him if one would be ok, looking at it he said it would be too large, then I said what about this one which was about half the size and he said it would be fine. I ordered it and it came and is absolutely tiny, way to small and useless.
I was laughing about it and said how he told me the size and measurement would be fine when it clearly wasn't but rather than laugh and admit his mistake he was defensive and says how I never showed him the picture, I did, that I told him the wrong measurement, that I told him the wrong unit which I certainly did not. He even got out a ruler to check the size of the things saying it isn't correct but it was. He then said how he was too busy doing other important things online so he wasn't listening to me ( he was playing a game on his phone at the time) or that he just wasn't listening to me and that I was forcing him to get the item! He also is now saying that the one he told me was too big would be the perfect size and that I somehow messed up.
Now I'm actually annoyed, not about the item which only cost a few quid but at his attitude and that all of the above like me being wrong or him ignoring me etc are all better options for him that simply admitting he made a mistake!
